If you follow us closely you’ll know that in addition to planning weddings we also regularly organise wedding fairs in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire areas.
We love every aspect of organising these fairs; with our decade of experience in event management, the planning and logistical challenges we are presented with keep us on our toes, they are an excellent opportunity for us to continuously meet established and emerging suppliers, and we also love having the chance to meet Brides and Grooms to hear all about their wedding day plans and assist them in finding the right suppliers to help create it.
As established Planners we do have suppliers we trust and like to recommend to our clients for their wedding day, however it has always been extremely important to us not to overlook the plethora of excellent suppliers we have here in the local area – those that have been providing their services for years and those that are just starting out. When suppliers choose to attend one of our fairs we ensure we are well versed in their offering to enable us to promote their business fully in the lead up the each fair, as well as continue a positive working relationship to follow.
One of the most important factors to us for our fairs is ensuring each exhibitor is given maximum exposure where possible. We want Brides and Grooms to get to know our exhibitors even before they meet them, so that having conversations and asking questions on the day can be a smooth, comfortable and ideally fruitful process.
We also like to ensure that the experience for all visitors on the day is positive; welcoming, informative, useful and above all, enjoyable. There is nothing worse than trawling round a bland wedding fair, so by building the momentum with our exhibitors in the lead up to the day as well as providing visitors with a few treats along the way, our fairs have so far proved a real hit with all involved.
Following our fairs we always collect feedback from both exhibitors and visitors, to enable us to continually improve the experience for everyone involved.
We were thrilled to hear that within a short space of time following our last fair a great deal of exhibitors had secured new business, with some even taking orders and making sales on the day. It is always wonderful to know that a fair has worked for both parties, and that the visit was worthwhile for both the exhibitor and the couple.
We’d like to share some of our most recent feedback from exhibitors and visitors:
“Wonderfully friendly atmosphere at the Fayre, the stallholders were most helpful”
“All exhibitors were warm, welcoming and informative. My highlight from today was the variety of exhibitors and the amount of information available to aid my planning”
“Thanks for yesterday – had a fantastic day, met lots of lovely brides at a well organised show – well done!”
“Many thanks for all your hard work yesterday, I have to say it was one of the best fairs I have attended and a bonus was receiving an order on the day which was great”
“Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the show yesterday. All the brides and family were lovely…you obviously went to a lot of effort to arrange a wonderful Fayre”
